Kristin Fisher was hired by CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent for Space and Defense she covers all aspects of space including NASA to the newly formed Space Force as well as commercial space companies and tourism in space. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now been a White House reporter for FOX News that covers the Trump and Biden Administrations in space matters. During that time, she also reported on two impeachment proceedings for President Trump as well as the 2020 presidential campaign, and two administration's attempts to control the spread of coronavirus. Her extensive travels with the president and vice-president also included a trip exclusive to Afghanistan and Afghanistan, which she travelled on with Donald Trump. Before becoming a part of the company in the year 2015, Kristin spent nearly a 10 years working her way up through local TV news markets which included Grand Junction, Colorado; Little Rock, Arkansas; and Washington, D.C. where she was awarded one Emmy Award as a one-man-band reporter for the Washington, D.C.'s CBS affiliate. Kristin is also adept at filmmaking, launched Field Mouse Films, a firm that is specialized in documentary style films, with clients like Uber and Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin holds an Bachelor of Science in Journalism which she received at Boston University. She is married to her husband in Washington, D.C., and is the mother of a 3-year-old daughter.
